What’s my blog rated?

OnePlusYou Quizzes and Widgets

This rating was determined based on the presence of the following words:

  • dead (2x)
  • hell (1x)

Which I find ironic because both of the references to death were talking about the children’s chamber musical The Composer is Dead. Nice that blogging about children’s cultural events will make your G rating questionable.

Blogs and Tweets are nothing new.

The first recorded use of a “blog” dates back to 1774, when Samuel Adams detailed his account of the Boston Tea Party in a little known journal which he titled “The Boston Log.” Amongst friends and colleagues he would refer to it as his “blog.”  Adam’s blogged version of the event is as follows:

I am now to inform you of as remarkable an event since the commencement of our struggle 4 American liberty. The meeting of the town of Boston, an account of which I enclosed in my last, was succeeded IRL by the arrival of the ship Falmouth, BOFH Hall, with 114 chests of the East India Company’s tea, on the 28th of November last.  FTW?  ATEOTD every chest of tea on board three ships which had by this time arrived, 342 chests, or rather the contents of them, was thrown into the sea.  pwnd!  JFTR it was done without the least injury 2 the vessels or FTL of other property TTBOMK CMIOW BTW BBQ.  FWIW I have never B4 imagined the height of joy that sparkles in the eyes and animates the countenances as well as the hearts of all the PPL we meet ATM of this 1337 occasion. w00t!

Soon after this posting, Adams posted the following tweet:

@EastIndiaCompany All Your Base Are Belong To Us!

If you’ve been tagged answer all of these questions and send it back to me.  Inquiring minds want to know!

FUN NAMES:

1. WITNESS PROTECTION NAME: (mother and fathers middle names)

2. NASCAR NAME: (first name of your mother’s dad, father’s dad)

3. DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite color, favorite animal)

4. SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, town where you were born)

5. PORN NAME: (1st pet, street you grew up)

Okay, great…now that I know the name of your first pet, let’s get a little more personal. ;)

6. Where did you meet your husband/Wife?

7. What’s your mother’s maiden name?

8. In what town was your high school?

9. What is your dream car?

10. What’s your favorite band?

Really?  That’s so interesting.  I never knew your mother’s maiden name before.  That could be useful.  You’re half-way done!

11. What are the first three digits of your social security number?

12. What is the name of your current bank?

13. What are the middle two digits of your social security number?

14. On what site do you do online trading?

15. What are the last four digits of your social security number?

Yup, that should do just about nicely.  What?  You don’t feel safe answering those last five questions?  That’s fine.  Just answer the first five.  Those are the most fun and give me enough information to get started.

Heheheh…another meme sucker bites the dust.
